Metatheory 06:23
Wake to the feeling
That my dream had meaning
But It's fading faster
When I turn and see her

Try to rest your head, remember without looking down
Like swimming frantically to almost surface, but I drown

 Subconsciously viral
 This infinite spiral
 I finally reach the top
 Until I really wake up

Try to rest your head, remember without looking down
Like swimming frantically to almost surface, but I drown

Drown in the thought…

(That) there's nothing to wake up to now
I fell like I'm trapped in a cage
 Reality feels different somehow
It's time to turn the page

Feeling free break down adversity you will never know me stand up against the ones who held you down No time to give in no time to let up with determination we'll chant on. Fear does not live here anymore, freedom and and rage is written on my face, you compare my will to yours, you run and hide I stay and fight, so cross the line between fear and bravery Use the hate to press on through it all Find you strength in your soul it is there to catch u when u fall Fight break seek save Theres strength in the numbers push us forward Fight break seek save There is no denying our rage is the cure They shall not stop us we wield rights to fight and we fly true The rage is the fire, feed the flame with persistence you've won the game This is the start of it all, the last stand of courage the opening of our souls No turning back now rise up and scream out the rage is here to stay Fight break seek save Theres strength in the numbers push us forward Fight break seek save There is no denying our rage is the cure Our (r)age is the cure... Still the struggles carry on no matter how you try Life will always have a barrier of grief and sorrow Bringing us down till there are no more tears to cry Then all you can do is take hold of your life. . . They will not overtake, We'll stand here in our final days And I will push us through 'til the end, We'll stand here and defend The breathing, it slows And nobody knows As I will take them on one by one Pray for your daughters and sons Tear This Place Down (Breaking my back once again) Our (r)age is the cure Fight break seek save Theres strength in the numbers push us forward Fight break seek save There is no denying our rage is the cure

Plato's Cave 09:01
What if perceptions were only deceptions? a blanket of optical comfort, this place, a world imagined, a reality fashioned clues to conclude a curious case A look in the mirror so suddenly a fear you're not something you thought you once were a startling conclusion, a wall of illusion You're trying to escape the spell you've been under. . . Theres nothing to wake up to now You're stuck like a rat in a cage Reality just wont allow For you to turn the page In glorious endeavor, you contemplate "forever", The colors and the sounds such a beautiful display. You drink up, you drop out, but you'll find nothing without A deeper understanding, and so you drift away Your family and your friends say your happiness depends upon the life that you lead. But how could they have known You wish to break these chains so that you might be freed Theres nothing to wake up to now You're stuck like a rat in a cage Reality just wont allow For you to turn the page Spiral downward, spiral downward... I like it They repulse me This light will blind And what will I find? I'll tell you the truth when I come back down And you won't like it, you won't make a sound Because you'll never be ready to hear You'll drive me back up like I was before You'll close the blinds and you'll lock the door Because you won't have a word I say Theres nothing to wake up to now You're stuck like a rat in a cage Reality just wont allow For you to turn the page

Velvet 05:24
This velvet darkness is blinding my eyes from seeing the path to where I’ve been. I sense the ground I stand on is nothing but a lie, but will I ever see again? Please ask me if there’s anything wrong. Some false assurance that another cares. Isolation gives me the will to learn and grow. Learning gives me the will to isolate myself. Still some suspicion of a life yet lived... This velvet darkness is blinding my eyes from seeing the path to where I’ve been. I fear the ground I stand on is nothing but a lie, but will I ever see again? Somewhere along the arrow, I feel out of place, lost sight of the breadcrumbs I laid to get back I used to dream that I could my life. Now I have nightmares that this life is not my own. This velvet darkness is blinding my eyes from seeing the path to where I’ve been. I sense the ground I stand on is nothing but a lie, but will I ever see again? Again? Your eyes will never see the sun.

Give me peace. ‘Cause when they leave, I am hopelessly alone.
I’m not free ‘til I breathe it all in, and I find - in myself - a home.
I was running out the clocks as I was running out of time, now I run from it all instead.
I don’t care if you don’t love me, it’s not my place to be afraid. So I’ve changed, so I’ve changed. I’ve found a new place to call home, a place I understand
You can’t find me or ruin me in here; but I can
The days turn into hours, because I'm breathing the past all in
No more need for new now, ‘cause I’m never leaving again You call me lost, but you’ve turned me from the path yourself.
I don’t need all these words to know it doesn’t have to hurt like this, so I won’t exist
‘Cause in the quiet I can find all the space in my mind to never have to die I won’t ever have to die I’ve found a new place to call home, a place I understand
You can’t find me or ruin me in here; but I can
The days turn into hours, because I'm breathing the past all in
No more need for new now, ‘cause I’m never leaving again This place of apathy makes it simple for me to see that I am torn apart from you
‘Cause all my reveries can finally appease my subtle disillusionment And I find time, In my mind, and I'll be fine, here where I'm alive! I’ve found a new place to call home, a place I understand
You can’t find me or ruin me in here; but I can
The days turn into hours, and I’m taking the past all in
No more need for new now, ‘cause I’m never leaving again I WILL NEVER LEAVE AGAIN

Sweet sanctum is peeling away My columns collapse onto me Imprisonment is how I stay free So there must be another way Fear lights the water. No time, no sound. I can think no farther, A serene new world I’ve found. I feel everything, I feel nothing. To this ink black void, I succumb. I’ve fallen in love with this something. My God, what have I become. I've found a new place to call home, a place I understand No more need for new now, 'cause I'm never leaving again Memories of my perception fading. No textures left to sooth. I have always waited For a better version of the truth. Fear lights the water. No time, no sound. I can think no farther, A serene new world I’ve found. I will stay and drown...

I never had a lust for answers Until my existence became the question Man's greatest machine was twisted in the clouds And greeted angry waters Universal balance! (life, born from water) Liquid wrath! (the ocean took her away) Have you ever felt this? (consumed by confusion) Embracing abstraction! (emotional seclusion) Questions (collapsing my mind) Answers (hidden inside) Beauty deprived, breaks my design Shattered inside, leaving the pieces behind Doubt is eclipsing the light! Unravel the fabric, and try to become Bursting with reason, digging to free myself. Inception, Abstraction, Obsession, for reason Growing toward the deepest depths, self invasion Moments of clarity, gleam like diamonds Swim to reality, swim to her, balance the equation The sun is weeping today, his tears are flooding the moon He knows I am falling to fate, to sink surrounded by blue Questions, Answers! Grains of sand, birthing the end, the end of the world This fake world, a projection, now exit to the cure Waves crash like crashing fists, curling, raging, hissing I am programmed for this moment, submit, succumb, sink Fate lights the water New time, new sound The moon turns in his sleep For fear he would be drowned This wasteland called reality Will now show it's real face Take off the mask, wash off the paint, You're just a ride, a circus act, a foolish rat race Divine, Align, The universe is telling me: "Entwine, Supine, Let me show you to the surface" To the surface...

God spoke to me today And I was born today God spoke to me today Like a mother contforting a newborn child Was I like an newborn child? Seeing nothing, my eyes closed to the world outside? Conscious, oblivious, resisting Not knowing that I was born? Removing the bars of this prison inside me To find that I put them there Ascending away from abstraction (First time only) Scale the cave to my first breath of air (Second time only) My eyes see the sun Born again! How was I supposed to find This beautiful, simple solution Attempting to find the right Answer to the wrong question!? Feeding the fire Fed me lies Feeding the fire Fed me lies Shatter the shadows Drown deceptive flames Removing the bars of this prison inside me To find out that I put them there Ascending away from abstraction (First time only) Scale the cave to my first breath of air (Second time only) My eyes see the sun Untangle the emotions that are trapping my soul Cast them out like arms embracing what I have And flee the depths of my mind, to reveal the animus I've been looking for Realize you've been blind And open your eyes To the world outside Lift a smile To the sky… Gently awake from the rays of the sunrise Lying here washed up on the shore Infinite colored clouds, fade through the skyline Ocean spray touches my skin, once more in the: Warm summer sun Lit the earth at the break of dawn Breathe… Warm summer sun (Unrelentlessly bleed out) Warm summer sun (Unconditional love) Lit the earth at break of dawn (Filling lungs of summer air) Lit the earth at break of dawn (For the first day of light) [Take hold of your life] [Take hold of your life] My blinded eyes can see My deaf ears can hear My closed mouth can speak My mind no longer fears Worries are falling apart Like a half remembered dream Effortless stream of clarity flows Gushes and drips from the seam This spinning earth Fails to skip a beat Six billion human souls Are singing with me!
